Vegetable-Tanned Leather
Vegetable tanning is a leather tanning process. The vegetable-tanned leathers commonly found on the market are typically made from genuine cowhide. Due to their low elasticity, easy water absorption and softening, and high moldability, they are often used for leather carving and crafting.
To preserve the natural rugged charm of vegetable-tanned leather during post-processing, edge sealers are typically applied to the leather edges.
Lorence Vegetable-Tanned Leather Edge Sealer
The Lorence vegetable-tanned leather edge sealer has excellent penetration, allowing it to rapidly absorb into the vegetable-tanned leather and tightly bind the internal fibers, thereby achieving a hardening effect. The hardened vegetable-tanned leather becomes easier to polish and shape.
Additionally, it can enhance the sheen and feel of the leather edges, making them glossy and smooth. This not only accentuates the natural rustic charm of the original color but also highlights the fluidity of the contours.
Application:
1.Lightly apply the Lorence vegetable-tanned leather edge sealer to the leather edges using a sponge, and let it dry naturally.
2.Use a polishing stick to gently buff the edges that have been treated with the edge sealer, creating a smooth and even surface.
3.Repeat the above two steps to achieve the final edge finishing effect.
